Mid American Conference Football Records

Conference Power Rankings
Now that the regular season has concluded college football, fans of college football some issues need to fill the void of conversation until the bowl games begin. Since all the awards were presented last week, have to find another question. The eternal debate about the superiority of conference always generates interest, if not heated discussion.
In an effort to determine the strength of conferences in relation to others, I have devised a formula to calculate how to rate objectively. I have reviewed the non-conference match-ups of the eleven Football Bowl Subdivision (formerly known as 1-A) members of the conferences' Division.
The formula consists of teams that provide points for their conference victory total each other teams outside their own conference. The teams receive no credit for defeating the members of the Football Subdivision (formerly Division 1-AA). However, conference members are penalized for losing to teams FCS / Division 1-AA. Prizes in the road or at neutral sites worth more than wins at home. Conferences earn extra points if its members defeated champions of other global conferences or division champions. The score of 1,000 is the highest score possible for a conference whose members played all their non-conference games at home, in this case, the conference won them all, beating opponents only FBS, none of whom won their conference or divisional championships.
After connecting all the numbers in my top secret formula, here are Results:
CONFERENCE NUMBER OF NON-CONFERENCE GAMES SCORE
Southeast: 48 891
Big East: 40 788
Pacific Ten: 30 617
Big Twelve: 48 578
Big Ten: 44 574
Mountain West: 36 535
Atlantic Coast: 48 521
Western Athletic: 38 434
U.S. Conference: 48 250
Mid-American: 52 231
Sun Belt: 36 083 MedlinePlus
The Atlantic Coast Conference victory was monumental. Virginia Tech won the Grand Champion North Division Twelve of Nebraska and the U.S. Conference champion East Carolina won some respect for the ACC. In addition, North Carolina ECU also defeated. Boston College champion defeated Mid-American Conference, Central Michigan.
On the other hand, ACC losses suffered several embarrassing. Virginia lost to William & Mary and the Duke of Richmond lost the winning teams both play at the FCS. The CAC struggled mightily, 2-5, against the SEC. The only two victories came in the only two SEC teams that finished with losing records. The fact that two teams in the title game of the ACC lost to SEC teams finish 7-5 tarnished the image of the CCC. Finally, BC dropped a game in the program of implosion in South Bend, Indiana.
The Southeastern Conference victories accumulated significant however, we could have won a higher score. Florida and Arkansas rolled Troy, Sun Belt champion. Georgia wins in Georgia Tech combined with South Carolina Clemson defeated SEC strengthened the claim of superiority on the conference derisively regarded as "a basketball conference." In addition, Tennessee won in Ohio, the winner of the Eastern Division of the Mid-American Conference. He had nine members instead of FBS played FCS opponents, including beating Mississippi labeled two former Division 1-AA programs, and then total the SEC, the point could easily have exceeded 0.9, although not all games were victories for the SEC.
The Big Ten continued its cherished tradition of inviting members of the Mid-American Conference to serve as punching bags. Before you start games in the conference or fill just opening dates later this year, the Big 10 intimidated the MAC in eleven of the thirteen head to head contests.
The Pacific Ten responded positively after last season's embarrassing record of the regular season 1-6 against the Mountain West Conference. This year, the PAC won 10 of the three matches against the CTM. Fans might wonder if the smaller number of the match between these two conferences helped to reverse. However, the PAC 10 appears more and better balanced than in 2008.
Rated For these conferences, is proud of its classification. For the rest, redemption can always happen to win bowl games.
