2009 NFL Monday Night Football: Saints at Patriots Preview and Picks

NFL 2009 Saints of the Patriots Previews & Picks: Planning a Super Bowl party this year? You may want to use this week's Monday Night Football game as a good opportunity for a trial period, as might be watching a Super Bowl preview.

The Saints (10-0) are in the midst of the best season in franchise history and the Pats in the absence of fourth-quarter choke in Indianapolis two weeks ago, looks ready to fight for another title in February.

The offensive explosion has forced each machine online sports post a total of 56.5 and even the sports betting public is betting on the "Over", as many bookmakers reported heavy action in the top.

New Orleans average 420 yards per game and 36.9 points. Is below its average record of 39-plus points per game that the team rode to week 7, but still only five points higher than second place Minnesota Vikings.

New England is second in average yards per game in 416 and the best combinations of one to two receivers open in the league, the Pats can stretch the field against larger defenders. Wes Welker had a super game against the Jets last week catching 15 balls for 192 yards. Welker blitzing Brady makes a real challenge for teams. His short game set below the long pass to Randy Moss. Moss is almost impossible to cover one-on-one and when it's doubles team, usually creates a mismatch Welker.

Saints receiving corps is almost as impressive with Marques Coltson, Devery Henderson, Jeremy Shockey, Robert Meachem. Speaking of issues of confrontation, these four receptors for high school showcase some Patriots. The Saints expect Reggie Bush may go coming off a knee injury. Early reports have him playing and if he is ready can be a difference maker, but usually plays a minor role in the Most crime games (are not they Fantasy players).

This training is a big game perhaps the two brightest coaches in the matching game wit, for the first time. Sean Payton is as creative as an offensive coach Belichick is a defensive strategist. Do not expect Belichick to go for a 4th and short on depths of his own end in this game but expect some interesting wrinkles of both coaches.

And, of course, field generals need no introduction, with Tom Brady and Drew Brees will probably ensure this game is the highest regular season. Brady has more experience to win the big game, but the Saints have been charging hard all year and not one has been able to team up Brees offense to date.

Both teams are consistent, not spectacular, running games and while each team has shown vulnerability in the defense of this year we expect to bring their A-game at the dome Monday night.

Tragedy NFL: Patriots vs Saints - After breaking it down, I'm making a bet on the home team New Orleans Saints on the 1-point. I they have a little more success moving the ball, and also get a couple of key stops his defense.

Enjoy the great game of Monday Night Football.
