How do you flirt with a guy who is a little intimidating?

So I met this guy a couple months ago, and he's the most polite person ever, funny, brilliant, down to earth, and even good looking. I've developed a pretty big crush on him. He's pretty intimidating to me, though. I know he's not out of my reach, but I can't help but get shy around him.

Normally I'm pretty good about eye-contact-kind-of flirting, but he's got the most amazing clear blue eyes (heck, I've got blue eyes so I don't think they're a huge deal, but I seriously have a hard time looking him in the eyes) and I always feel a little too shy to flirt with him.

Just FYI, I only get to see him on the weekends when my friend and I go to see him and our other friend in the football games; he's a freshman in college and I'm a senior in high school, so its not like I can just say hi in the hall at school or anything.

Any tips or advice, please?

ask him out! your not intimidated by him just lovestruck is all..if you were intimidated by him you'd be fearful of him lol
