My teacher was being racist or simply telling the truth?

My history teacher is a college graduate and am in the 11th grade, chapter the story was that we were in Black American slavery. The vocabulary we were talking about was "Reperations" and that bothered him. He flat the other day said that "Americans are lazy black, and all want money and free financing, but do nothing to cooperate in America," My classmates (especially in the groin, soccer, and football team) laughed no black kids at my school say nothing of the kind since I live in Ohio-__-I mean I do not live in ATL or Houston, but I thought it was soooo racist! I love Rihanna, Keri, Beyonce and a host of other artists in black! Not because they are vague, but what do you think? Do you think I should let go: S

Your teacher is a racist tool and so are the kids in your class. It Funny how white people say things like this only when they are between whites and then others when in the presence of members of minorities to smile and say do not know what we are talking about when we say that we are still discriminated against.
