What would be my best route to becoming a college football coach?

They have no time playing in my team high school football, to walk in can be its scope. How could I participate in a coaching career without playing college football in college? If it helps at all, I will be attending a Big Ten college in '09.

Probably the best way is to take a sport in college curriculum and express your desire of the coaches of the goals of his career and be available to volunteer. If you impress the coaching staff enough, someone can take him under his wing and help shape a coach. If not, try to get job training in either a high school team after college and try to work your way up the ladder. If this is your ultimate dream, then you can make it happen. Just keep track of what you do and do not settle for less than what you want.
