College Football Blackouts

Does the NFL need a special rookie contract?
Ok, so take 1st round, in particular, the number 1 takes in millions of dollars paid. For example, Matt Ryan's contract is 72 million U.S. dollars for six years. JaMarcus Russell contract is $ 61 million for six years with 32 million guaranteed. Although his NFL career is over (he is worse than most small college QB's), it is still an air of millions of dollars. better then almost 25 percent of U.S. population. We can retire now if he wanted and still live a pretty good life. NFL is worrying about losing knowledge and ticket sales, could be a potential crash in 2011 (which means no football !!!!!!!!).... http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d8162e7da&template=with-video-with-comments&confirm=true The NFL could avoid a blackout by setting these little things, like rookie salaries. Joe Flacco, in my opinion, has the best contract, $ 32 million for five years. After proving to be a good quarterback and then more money.
I totally agree with you! Instead of owners whining and worry about the blackouts that may come I think need to review the project system that has been put in place and what they pay these whistles rookies. Their owners is the cause of the problem! Honestly, I think the rookies have to pay low, give them a reason to show they want more money, a contract higher. Then, after to prove that is good enough to justify receiving more money.
