How can you get eight out of ten quality
Recently launched a new website and Adwords campaign. My ad groups, keywords and key landing pages have a 8 out of 10 quality score. This is a brand new website and a new campaign. Adwords calls this a "high" level quality. I will describe the exact steps I took so you can duplicate them and get high quality results as well.
First, the market is highly competitive. It is a market that all major news media said it was hot and growing online in December 2008 despite the recession. I have more than 500 words. I will talk more about them in a minute, but I want to give you an idea of the magnitude of the campaign.
I started with the landing pages. I have unique landing page customized for each keyword. The key to a high standard is to have relevant ads and landing pages for your keywords. I recommend a strategy of having only one keyword per ad group. The whole strategy is freely available on adwords-marketing-tool.com. The strategy guide covers in detail all the concepts I'm about to summarize for the creation of a landing page. Get your free strategy guide on adwords-marketing-tool.com.
I will briefly describe the steps to construct a measure landing page. You start with a domain for your market. In addition to its domain should only be on the market. You do not want a domain or subdomain that covers many topics. Keep your white rule. Then, each page has the keyword as the target page. For example, If the keyword is "college football", the page is called football.php university. That puts the keyword in the url.
For each Page, I have the keyword in the title tags, meta tag keywords and description meta tag. Also I have the keyword in the title (H1) The marks on the page. No content tailored for the keyword in the landing page.
I just said with more than 500 pages as destination. I did not write each one by hand. Instead, I used the advanced strategy guide and techniques described within automate this task. I spent about 25 hours for 5 days at Christmas to launch this website. I would have taken weeks to create landing pages manually. Visit adwords-marketing-tool.com for advanced strategy guide and learn how you can automate website and campaign creation.
The last thing I did for each page Target adds a link to my site map, contact us and privacy policy pages. Google wants your website to look more than a single page. He also wants to be transparent and provide contact information and policies.
The next step was to address keywords. Was about 20 high-traffic keywords. These words did not wait queue. They were the top volume producers for the market. I wanted to add U.S. cities in front of each word key. This in turn high-volume keywords in long lines, while target geographic areas. It was the best way to attack this highly competitive market.
I used the free tool holder AdWords adwords-marketing-tool.com to create my keywords. The free tool allows you to combine a list prefixes (or suffixes) to your keywords. I used the tool to add cities to the front of my keywords. Imagine turning on the keyword x New York x, x Angeles and Chicago x "automatically.
Finally, the need to create the Adwords campaign. Once again, I used the creative tool campaign in adwords-marketing-tool.com. This led the campaign in a matter of seconds, keywords, landing pages, advertisements and all.
That's it. That's how I generate a new campaign for a new website and got 8 out of 10 levels of quality.
I have yet to be done. First, the market is so competitive, spending is increasing rapidly. The good news is that I have a CTR anywhere from 5% to 20%. I am a high CPC bid to get CTR that high for the first few weeks. In the long run, I will be able to lower the CPC and still has the first position due to the pending CTR. Also, I have it 8 in 10 to 90% of the keywords, the other is 7. I have no 9 or 10 results. I keep chasing.
