College Football By Charlie

What are your thoughts on the lack of Black coaches in Division 1-A Football? Read below.?
I think it's a shame a guy like Lane Kiffin, who has not done anything in college football can get a great job (first head coaching job in college) in Tennessee, but a guy like Turner Gill yours to take a real crappy job in Buffalo as their first job (by the way that is gaining in Buffalo). Most schools like to asst. coaches as Dwyane Walker and Ron and Charlie Strong English as coaches, but never do. Chris Rock said it best a black man has to struggle to get a job where the white man can get well and get the interview. I'm not racist, but I am only telling people the facts.
It's a bad job. Some very talented coaches the opportunities of the past, and some of them happen to be black. Gill is to build a strong resume in Buffalo and that will open some doors for him, but in the current state of win now, few cars are going to suffer for lack of production in the field. If you do not have links with the school or the coordinator of a place in the conference (Ie, school, or some impressive USC or Ohio State) and then three letters (NFL) ensure that the doors open for you (Just say ... YOUR ... Kiffin ... coincidence?). It is a pity that more coordinators black unnoticeable for these jobs, but then again most schools have someone in mind when the coach leaves, is dismissal, resignation, etc.. The problem is getting someone in the recruitment process to select the best candidate, no election out of school a wish list. If that's the case, then for me a guy like Gil becomes a top choice for openings at Clemson and Mississippi State. Most coaches do not look because they are not in schools or in the loop of the NFL resume class. So go unnoticed until Buffalo schools as give them a shot.
