Does anyone think boxing is similar to the BCS in college football?

I find it similar as lots of boxers "duck" other boxers whereas others claim they're "most avoided". Both boxers and football teams play a limited amount of matches and are ranked. You have corrupt promoters vs. the corrupt BCS. Non-BCS teams often claim they're "avoided" but can't schedule games with BCS teams to prove themselves, just like how Paul Williams claims he's "avoided". Floyd is like the Florida of boxing, as his opponents are the equivalent of playing "cupcake schedules". And Chavez Jr. is the Notre Dame of boxing.

Your arguement is really off base. You are trying to argue that Floyd has fought nobody when in actuality he has fought and beaten 13 World Champions. He has won 6 world titles in 5 weight classes and he did it going up, so he fought mostly bigger guys who had been at the weigth he moved up to. He has still managed to be 40-0.
The same is true for Florida football. You are arguing they avoid some people but being in the SEC they play the best. Florida is 12-1. Their won loss is to the current #1 Alabama Crimson Tide who was # 2 when they were # 1. Who better than them can play. They will play #3 Cincinnati in their bowl game. They played #4 LSU earlier...so they are number 2, lost to number 1...beat #4 and will play #3 on New Years in a bowl game...who better can you play? If you are in a conference like the SEC you play 5 ranked teams in conference sometimes.
Notre Dame also played 4 PAC10 teams, 3 Big Ten teams, 2 Big East teams, and 2 of those teams are highly ranked.
I leave you with 1/1/2008 Georgia 41 Hawaii 10
or 9/2/2005 Georgia 48 Boise St. 13
This si what happens when those guys play SEC schools.
