College Football: What is "Separation Saturday" mean?

Why ESPN commentators called today Separation Saturday? Does this mean something, or is it just a slogan ESPN? What is the separation of what? Please help, I am new to School Football :-) ) Go Army! :-) ) Last defeat for the Army, but what a great effort! What a game!
