I'm Playing Fantasy Football & Have No Idea How To Play .....?

I was invited to join a League and like the knuckle head that I am I said Yes! Go figure!? (smiling)

Here's the deal ... I named my team the Georgia Fire Ants ( http://www.mistpronc.com/fire_ant.jpg ) and will draft my team as soon as it's time to do so. The problem is I will draft where my heart is and not who the best players are.

Is that good or bad?

I will pick several players from the Atlanta Falcons because I have a huge bias in that direction.

In Fantasy football can several teams have the same players or is it just like football in that you draft just the way they do in the pros?

Since I have no clue ... (bear with me here) do people play fantasy college football? I know there wouldn't be a draft but I'm just curious.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated. (laughing)

I'm not sure how the points work but, it's important to get players who you think will have , stats-wise, a good season. Doesn't matter if they are on a good team or not. I like to pick my wideouts first then, move on to running backs and then to QB's. Kickers are a dime a dozen so, i have waited til the end to get them and have always wound up with a decent kicker anyway. The draft is important to your success so, definitely do some mock drafts on Yahoo to get the hang of it. Good Luck!
