Gridiron How I can play?

Ok, so I'm an Australian living in Australia, and being a barbecue I've never played before just because not very big on here ... Anyway, because we got this new sports channel, I've been seeing a bit, especially "college football" and I like her, so I looked for some clubs in Australia and you know, there are clubs everywhere, so I asked a few over subscription prices, etc ... But here's the problem ... I really do not know the rules, or how to play ... The only positions that I know are in the neighborhood back and (???)... Back Runner So is there anywhere you can direct so that I can get some understanding about the game ... Thanks a lot ..
