Los Angeles, California Featured

Los Angeles is a very exciting and a great place for anyone to take a vacation. Visiting Los Angeles and surrounding could be one of the best and most memorable experiences you'll ever have. The tourists seem enthusiastic about everything from the simplest to bigger things. For some reason, tourists like to see the famous Hollywood sign, and especially the visitors from non-coastal states like going to the beach and see the Pacific Ocean for the first time.

If you like more of an adrenaline rush of fun and is planning to come to the city of Los Angeles, you will be at a distance reasonable drive of many attractions and water parks, including Six Flags Magic Mountain, Hurricane Harbor, Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Universal Studios, the raging waters, and in other places like the Los Angeles Zoo and Griffith Park.

If you are really interested in the film industry can be go to the recordings of numerous television programs where you can watch your favorite stars live and in person. Or if you prefer to be in front of the camera instead of at the hearing, There are several ads in newspapers, magazines and posted on telephone poles looking for all kinds of people who want to be background extras in movies, TV and advertising. No experience necessary. Be sure to go to Hollywood Boulevard and look at the floor of the stars of your favorite artists in the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

You can go to Staples Center, home of the 9 time NBA (National Basketball Association) World Champion Los Angeles Lakers. Magic Johnson has gone from playing professional basketball but I still see his name around Los Angeles. He is involved in some business in the city, including some places 24 hours of Fitness, located on Magic Johnson Theatres Crenshaw Center shopping, Starbucks Cafe and Restaurant Magic Johnson's TGI Friday's.

Opposite the hotel from the Forum in Inglewood, where the Lakers played for 30 years until a few years ago, is the Hollywood Park Race Track and Casino. They only have horse racing a few months out of the year. But you are in "lucky" because the casino is in full 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to meet their gaming needs. It is one of the few places around here at least so far, they still have free parking.

For baseball fans can go to Dodger Stadium, home of former Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers World. You do not want to go to Dodger Stadium without eating one of his famous dogs of the Dodgers.

We not only have professional sports champions, we also have our famous rival school in the city, the UCLA Bruins and USC Trojans who have brought both team championships to the city of Los Angeles and both have had their students and alumni to bring gold medals when they were representing the United States during the years when the Olympics. If you want to see another historic site Sports, then go to the LA Coliseum. Not only was the home of the Rams and the Raiders, way back when I used to have a Los Angeles NFL team football, but it was an important place for the 1932 Summer Olympics 1984. If you watched the Olympics then he saw the Coliseum in Los Angeles during opening and closing ceremonies and track and field. The Olympic torch is still there.

While you are at the Coliseum, it would be well worth a stroll through the California Science Center in Exposition Park. It's a great educational experience for adults and children learning. The Sports Palace is located in that general area. Moreover, within walking distance in this area are several museums that you may be interested in going through.

You would not want to waste time spending on the 405 San Diego, which runs along the west side of Los Angeles County so you can enjoy the bumper to bumper traffic all get to experience so often. More people in the area call it the world's largest parking lot. His walks brake your vehicle, while burning that expensive gasoline. Generally, you are either a point or is moving at a snails pace. I just hope they do not have a vehicle accident on the highway ahead of you, because the snail really want to win in a race.

If you leave the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) located just off the beach at Playa del Rey on the west end of town, you can get on the 405 freeway and head north. When finally able to get through traffic, you can visit the Museum J. Paul Getty, which is just before reaching the valley.

You can go to Marina del Rey, just north of the airport where you can enjoy a dinner cruise on the ocean or bring your fishing pole and exit at one of the boats fishing for all day or just for fun at the Fishermen Village overlooking the Pacific Ocean and has a meal, drinks and gift shops. There are places close to most the beaches where you can rent bicycles. There is no bike path runs along the right side of the Pacific Ocean on the beach. If you like skating, roller and / or skateboarding, then you really like Venice Beach.

Usually from the west side of Los Angeles, if you are in or near the beach of Playa del Rey and look up, you can watch the planes take off over the ocean. If you are somewhere east of the airport you can see the planes coming into a landing. But if you look up and see a helicopter, not confused. Probably not a guided helicopter tour. Most likely, the Los Angeles Police Department helicopter chasing a suspect with media helicopters trying to get their shots and doing their best to stay off the road. Police car chases are very common here. You hear the sirens of emergency vehicles from all directions. But that is our Los Angeles keeping the best and friendly town insurance.

In all fairness, as a traveler you really need for the safety of both you and your family a priority, not matter what city in the world to visit.

If you want to go on another cruise, you can go to Catalina Island. You can go further, having a good time and return the same day if you want or you can stay for several days if you really like. There are numerous activities there.

Another historical site that you do not want to miss is the corner of Florence Street and Normandie Avenues in 1992, which was where it all started the Los Angeles riots. Most businesses were burned to the ground during that time have been reconstructed since then, so of course they are much better and more modern. Others may never be rebuilt.

At the other extreme south of Los Angeles County is Long Beach where you can see the Queen Mary is docked ships. You can tour the ship. In addition, while in Long Beach you can visit the Aquarium of the Pacific underwater adventure. Like the California Science Center is another great learning opportunity for the education of adults and children.

For commercial depends on what you are interested in. You can get almost anything you can think of shopping centers are all over the place. The Del Amo Mall in Torrance (The southern part of Los Angeles County) is one of the largest malls in the United States. If you are looking for discount clothing and other goods, then go to the fashion district in downtown Los Angeles. If you want the expensive things, then go down Rodeo Drive and the area of Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills. Just east of Beverly Hills Grove is where you can check out the Farmers Market has been serving Los Angeles since 1934. The area has been changed, expanded and built over the past years.

Wilshire Boulevard is one of the main shopping streets in Los Angeles that runs from the beach to downtown Los Angeles. So if you want to lose Wilshire Boulevard just for fun, you can start at the Santa Monica pier overlooking the Pacific Ocean and take you through the cities of Santa Monica Beverly Hills and Los Angeles. On reaching the center of the city, be sure to check out the Los Angeles Civic Center.

Another interesting down the road to fun is Crenshaw Boulevard. You can start at Wilshire Blvd and continue south on Crenshaw Boulevard. It will take you through downtown Los Angeles. His trip take you by the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Shopping Center, Leimert Park in the Crenshaw district, then through Inglewood, Hawthorne, Lawndale, Torrance, Rolling Estates Hills and all the way down until you end up in Rancho Palos Verdes in the South Bay area of Los Angeles.

Check the calendar of Los Angeles Convention Center. They always have some kind of entertainment, business and information seminars, exhibitions and workshops happening there. You might find something going on that is You may want to attend. There are countless food and beverage locations throughout the Los Angeles fine dining to fast food places and all the nuances of gray in the middle to satisfy any appetite. You just have to find ones that match your taste. There are all kinds of entertainment, dancing, activities and shows, even plus all the things mentioned above.

If you are visiting someone who has a car that you can use, then probably would have to rent a car because waiting for public transportation in Los Angeles will use most of their vacation time. Have fun.
