College Football - How to find out which teams go up and down in the polls

Many of those fans Sport anxiously await the release of the weekly football polls really miss one of the best parts of the survey when looking only to see their favorite is the range.
Many newspapers and online services do not give the total results of the vote, only the list of Top 25 picks for the week.
You have to dig a little deeper to discover which teams received votes, but not enough votes to become the Top 25. Look at the bottom of the results the poll on this post in small print: Others who received votes.
AP Poll Tuesday (9-11-07) showed these entries: 220 South Florida, Missouri 144, Alabama 116, Washington 95, Arizona State 28, Appalachian State 19, Cincinnati 12 Kansas 1. All these teams began their season by winning their first two games, many sometimes dramatically.
I'm ignoring the other five teams that won votes in the AP poll to make a point. These five were TCU 66, Auburn 23, State 2 Florida, Iowa and Purdue 1 1. Iowa and Purdue are 2-0, but has not won so impressive and the others are 1-1.
USC (Southern California) is No. 1 in Survey AP with a 1-0 record and 1594 points in total. Texas A & M is 25th with 243 points. Sports Journalists votes cast give 1st place with 25 points and pick your choice 25A 1 point.
Notice that Texas A & M had 243 points and South Florida who do not in the Top 25, had 220 points, just 23 points behind. He had come south Florida more than 24 points, the Bulls (his nickname) would have been No. 25.
If the Top 25 this week had been instead the Top 36, South Florida would have been No. 26, Lima N º 27, No. 28 Alabama, No. 29 Washington, No. 31 Arizona State, No. 33 Appalachian State, No. 34 Cincinnati and Kansas No. 36.
This information is important for fans like me because of my interest. A game to play every week to determine what equipment are increasing and that teams are falling in the polls.
While many of our wives, girlfriends and significant others may find this activity to be boring, is a habit that is far superior to other habits such as drinking, drugs, sleeping around, lying, cheating and stealing. So I feel no need to justify apologize or defend myself in this practice.
Those who follow my 2007 College Football Weekly reports during the first two weeks of the season know that I has been in identifying the teams up and down.
Before the elections were even, I correctly identified South Florida, Alabama, Washington, Arizona, Cincinnati and Kansas as teams on the rise.
I correctly identified as belonging to these teams in the polls: Michigan (No. 5 of the Top 25), Florida State (No. 19 out of the Top 25) Boise State (No. 22 after the Auburn Top 25), (No. 17 after the Top 25), Georgia ( No. 11 to No. 23), Wisconsin (No. 5 to No. 7), Hawaii (No. 20 to No. 24) and Texas A & M (No. 23 to No. 25).
The two most overrated teams between the slips are Wisconsin and Hawaii. Why Hawaii and Texas A & M are still in the polls beyond me.
One or more Top 25 teams lose this weekend, like Michigan, Florida State, Boise State, Georgia and Auburn have been ranked in the Top 25 and lost during the first two weeks of the season.
Let me predict that Alabama, Washington, Michigan State, Florida and all of the State of Arizona is among the Top 25 in the AP poll before the season is over.
I also note that in the coaches poll, South Florida, Washington, Alabama, Cincinnati and Arizona State did not make the Top 25 but did receive points.
Heck, in the poll of coaches, including the Wyoming Cowboyswho I love because they are difficult of winning homereceived points.
Reception points in balloting of coaches with 2-0 records were Missouri, Texas Tech, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland and Purdue. I have not found any of these teams as increases because they have not played good teams and won impressively.
Keep your eye on Alabama, Michigan State and the State Arizona, because they all have the first-year coach Nick Saban (Red Tide), Mark Dantonio (the Spartans) and Dennis Erickson (Sun Devils). These three cars are excellent and all come from great teams with winning traditions.
Erickson's offense is so good smart you could probably make a winning player of a mole blind in the Arizona desert.
