What do you think of college football's rules changes?

1. The NCAA retracted the clock rule that was put in place just before the '06 season. Instead of the clock starting as the ball is set in place, they will go back to waiting for the chains to be set. Thank you! Although the average game was reduced by 14 minutes, I'd rather be in my seat for that amount of time, nothing better than a college football game.

2. Teams will now kickoff from the 30. I think this will create a lot of excitement, as some of the best hits, jukes, and scampers down the sideline occur on kick returns. Nothing more boring than watching a kick sail through the endzone.

3. Instant replay officials have a maximum of 2 minutes to make a call. Thank you! Although, some people argue those guys miss calls when they take 5 minutes, and this will only put more pressure on their decision. I say they should be professional enough to handle it.

What do you think?

Good changes. I'm a Houston Cougar fan. Their special teams were bad last year. Kicking off from the 30, they might set a record for kick return TD's allowed next season. Only two minutes for instant replay? Hell, give 'em an hour. Most couldn't find their asses with both hands and a map.
