Should I Rent A Plasma TV?
I'm currently dorming at college and my roomates and I have discussed renting a plasma tv (42"-50" range). We would split the cost monthly four ways. I would rather buy it, but when we move out we wouldn't know who would get it. We currently don't have a tv in our living area and we are avid video game players and big football fans, so we could really use one. If possible list some figures as to the cost per month as all the renting sites only provided a quote form. THANK YOU!!
Its me and 3 other roomates. So the cost would be split four ways.
Renting will cost you more in the long (or even short) run. It is a total waste. Dude, you two should be able to come up w/ something better. Say, one person agrees to pay a little bit more so that they will be the owner when your living situation changes.
O.K. 4 ways --- My 42" Samsung cost me 899.00 at Best Buy, 983.00 w/ tax. So say the three that do not want it at the end of school pay 200.00 each, and the one that will keep it pay 383.00. All will be using it so that is fair. The rental prices would be at least AT LEAST 200.00 a month, so..... 200.00 one time or a pain in the rump payment of 200.00 every single freakig month (or week w/ some of these shady places----- you end up paying thousands, which could be better spent.
