Degrees and Programs
University of San Diego Awards 84 degrees, 75 masters degrees and 16 doctoral degrees (Ph.D., Ed.D, and Au.D) and 78 minors in seven universities. SDSU has the distinction of being the only California State University campus offering the largest number of doctoral degrees. With approximately 151 disciplines, the university offers several alternatives for students f rom fine arts and sciences with the humanities.
SDSU has a large number of undergraduate and graduate programs to cultivate the intellect and creativity in students. With the goal of education global perspective, the university promotes innovative faculty and student research, opportunities to grow their career by leaps and bounds.
Sports & Clubs
The main sports are the pulse of the school are rowing, soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball, football and ice hockey. Student clubs on campus include the oldest Rowing Association, Student Body Association, Debate Club, the YWCA and Alumni Association. The campus library houses many books, articles, media, magazines, research guides, locations and maps.
In 1902, 'The White and Gold magazine' and the paper was launched at the initiative of students. A newspaper called 'Normal Weekly News' began in 1913 that became known as "paper lantern" and "El Azteca" and the current name "The Daily Aztec after certain modifications. A directory entitled "Southwest" is there since 1920.

The Division Affairs Research promotes research activities and management, security research, research grants and approvals, research sponsored, regulatory compliance for the advancement of research skills and education.
