College Football Ncaa Rules

Should college athletes be paid?
College sports bring great amount of dollars each year in the major college level. These programs bring $ 30 and sometimes $ 40 million per year to universities and colleges and the players receive nothing. These are the same players that are breaking back from the university every day and can not get some of this money and, for me, it does not seem fair. I know what you may think that these student-athletes receive a free education or have received a scholarship to play baseball at the university. For me, that's the least they could do.
When I watch American football college on Saturday and see packed stadiums with cheering fans pay large sums of money for a ticket I mean, what business could run a business there and not pay their workers? You might think that I was talking about some Third World country! Pay the players, please!
Think about this: Most college coaches six figure salaries - large and small college programs. Some of these college coaches get shoe contracts, some get television and radio contracts and many other benefits along the road. Also, if you are a good coach and win games that will be offered another post coach somewhere else more money and great benefits! Student-athletes receive nothing and, for me, I would have to do something about it. Please pay to Players now!
They will keep saying that athletes are getting the education, free books, free room and board and educational opportunity good college that will last a lifetime. What! Pay the players! I see this as any college-slave! Coaches earn much money from these players. You hear stories of college athletes taking money or getting paid under the table. You hear these stories of coaches and players get a lot of cash, you hear stories of the players get all this and more on the side. You hear about the player's families to get cars and houses to attend the university program. This happens all the time secret!
Why do players take this money and cars and houses for their families and more? Well one reason is the recruitment, and some college programs believe that in order to get a major university recruits have to offer these things. Some college programs (not all) have to give something for these children. Some of these players come from poor families so that children have a little money is big business, especially if the players and their families have no money anyway.
Being a college athlete is very hard. In the first place the number of hours that these players are put in a lot - every day of every week. They are in class every day then there is the practice after practice, go to dinner if they can and then go to school. Now this may sound simple to you, but the amount of time these student-athletes are putting in is huge. Then, the coaches want more. Could there to study film and there may be times when they are being seen by the athletic trainer. As a student-athlete, you have to concentrate on their studies and athletic performance or will try to get rid of you.
college sports is difficult. Sometimes, the end of the day are exhausted and do not feel like studying or if they have any type of study table players may not be able to concentrate fully and often, their attention is elsewhere. Just think about the millions of people who go to work every day. They work long hours and may have long commutes to and from home. I'm sure the last thing people want to work is to spend extra hours doing more work. Most working people want to relax, maybe have a beer and watch TV, then call it a day. The big difference is they charge for service and time and college ball players are not.
Most college athletes, students can not get their degrees and the reason is one of the practices and games they play. There is so much pressure to do something like this will fall and that something is their education. college coaches have been known to look the other way in regard to student athletes and academics in both the player can help win games.
For most athletes University, where the selection is used for university programs have no need of their services. Why would they? For four years these programs University have worked these young men and women to death every day. University programs have achieved everything he could out of these players and some more. At the college level or any level is just winning games, the introduction of large amounts of money.
Take a look at baseball, if a high baseball player is very good, that can be offered a contract to sign with a team of major league baseball. Sometimes the offer is $ 200,000, I hear, as much as $ 2 billion. However, if the baseball player high school with money, then loses his college eligibility. Some baseball players secondary spend money to attend college where you can improve, refine their baseball skills and be drafted again for a great team in the league. Many players school baseball takes the money and have the opportunity to try and make the big leagues. A large number of players never get to the majors. Some playing in the minor leagues for years until they realize that their dream of playing in the majors is not going to happen and move on.
Once that money can not go to back and try to play college baseball. The same is true for all other sports. You will have a basketball player trying to school the NBA, young people have to try out for the NFL. Many of these athletes never gave the opportunity of education and many who are in college never got its title.
College athletes struggle with their academics. Many do not graduate and some will just quit altogether. College athletics is not for all and many student athletes can not cut to pay the players! Pay them something all their time and efforts!
When these programs are university playing in bowl games and making millions of dollars on the backs of the players and the players still get nothing, that's wrong. When your "March Madness "time for college basketball and millions are glued to the television for hours every day and the players are giving everything - not yet get nothing!
Why would a problem paying the players? Schools are making millions of dollars in any way. This is not Mexico or China, where workers are paid $ 1.00 per hour to make billions for a corporation - we know slave labor!
Why do you think Players take the money from many outside sources? Why are players from the team for violating team rules? Why college programs paroled? It's all about money. You have many players who come from disadvantaged backgrounds where there is no money in their families. If these young student-athletes disadvantaged had to pay for college out of pocket, most would not be in a school at all.
Some student-athletes are in situations where the educational system is not very good. Their school districts lack funds and mismanaged. For many student athletes, its output is an education with full athletic scholarships. Playing a sport is their future. Many student athletes only focus on athletics to think that someday will be good enough play in the pros. So when money is dangled in front of the faces of some student-athletes, the temptation must be overwhelming!
By many years we have heard stories of players and coaches get in trouble for the money. We have heard of the situations of college programs all being exterminated by the NCAA because of money given to players. Why do it? Why is a question of money? One reason is because it is easy to obtain certain types of players from certain types of funds. programs Big-time college major can only survive with longer time college players, so they are paid. We all know that paying college athletes is wrong (as set out in the guidelines of the NCAA). But this rule has to change now.
If college athletes receive these grants can be paid. If players are paid, then I think most college athletes would graduate from college because there would be a greater incentive to work hard in the classroom. largest universities college coaches pay more based on their performance and the players should get paid too.
If players are paid then this corruption stop. No more paying players remember, no college player over the sale of his shoes, no more college players than the jobs they are paid large sums of money just to work a few hours. It's hard out there for a student-athlete! Did you know you that a non-student athlete can get a job to earn extra money and can work around your schedule, but a student athlete can not have a job until School is over and there are restrictions on the type of work you may have.
In the game of college sports, the rules are not just for college athletes Students! The playing field is not equal. Pay the players!
