That in its opinion is a better LSU University or Texas A & M?

Trying to get some information on both as a junior in high school looking to go to schools. I live in Texas, but my father lives in Louisiana, so I'm pretty sure I can get set up for both. I have also compiled some pros and cons of my own. LSU Pros: Great football team, home, social life is becoming a better school than I've heard is low cost good mass communication program (I would like to specialize in either of psychology or journalism) Cons: Far from home (may not be a bad thing) I do not know many people there Texas A & M: Closer to home have cousins who go there, it would cool roommate Ranked among the traditions in the ranking U.S. news. Cons: I root for most of my life long horns (not that that matters) I am a moderate liberal. looks almost like a cult type of students

It depends on your attitude. UG is a better school than Texas A & M, for all that I heard. But if you go into it thinking, "Oh, it'll be so lonely, and I will never out of my nostalgia, "you're probably going to be right. If, on the contrary, we look at the university as a new adventure, the opportunity to meet people new and become his own person, instead of clinging to people I knew before, you may have a great experience there. I can tell you that I had two cousins at my school when I went there and saw only one all the time I was there, and that one exactly once. Not that his cousins and roommates can not be good people, but this is an opportunity to diversify and make more friends, do not retreat to the familiar. I would definitely give it a try LSU.
