Football Pool - Organizing - Free Football Pool Grid

What is a football pool? MSN Encarta defines a as "a form of gambling in which participants, usually co-workers, bet on the outcome of school, college or professional football games. The bets are pooled and divided among the winners.

There are many ways to create a group of football. Here is one that is very easy implement:

Decide how much to charge per square meter. In general, $ 1.00 per square foot for a total pot $ 100.00.

Decide how you will pay the pot. The most common is to pay something at the end of each quarter. You can decide what percentage of the pot is paid each time. For example, 25% after 1 quarter, 25% after the second quarter and so on up to 100% of the pot paid.

Decide how winners will be determined. A very common way is to use the "last digit" method. It basically uses the last digit of the score of each team and where to find these numbers intersect on the grid. If you are not familiar with this method is described in more detail in a free ebook listed below in the box of the author. It will be easier to understand if you can view sample grid that comes with the eBook.

Now that decisions have been made by printing a grid pool football (usually a sheet of 8-1/2 x 11 with 100 seats can be filled with the names). In case you need one, offered free e-book the author in the box below includes a football pool sheet blank (and full instructions.)

"Sell" squares on the grid until all 100 seats are filled with the name of the buyer. Buyers can purchase multiple seats.

After of all places are filled with names, draw the numbers that will be filled at the top and down the left side of the grill. Create 10 small square of paper and then type a number (zero to nine) in each. Fold 10 squares and put them in something to draw from a hat. Choose someone to draw a number at a time and fill in at the top starting from left to right. Double back and do the same for the left side, top to bottom. When finished, the numbers will be in random order.

Enjoy the game and pay the pot as decided.

Football pools are easy to install and fun for participants. Why not organize a football game to the next? Or spice things up at work and make a football pool office with co-workers?
