Does anyone know the song that played during a tribute to Joe Paterno on abc college football on Oct 25? ?

It played before the game started and I'm pretty sure some of the lyrics were "you were meant for me" and no it wasn't Jewel. The singer had a kind of a high pitch. Thanks.
