ESPN vs. Sports Illustrated magazine?

I do not live in the U.S. but I love American sports and while I'm happy just to read the contents and see Online highlights I've always wanted to subscribe to one of the two magazines as filler for when I am not able to get to a computer. In terms of content I'm looking for insightful articles and something to keep up with statistics of the teams in college football, NFL, college basketball, NBA, NHL and boxing So guys and girls recommend?

my answer is so biased that I had a membership if for 12 years. I have read but for me espn you have better coverage in SI. if i really recommend it.
