wrong to date this younger guy????

theres this guy i like and hes a freshman in college. the problem is that im a junior in college. i told my friends that i like him, and they said that hes mr renaissance and super great, but hes 2 years younger than me. so they dont want me to date him.

this guy is super sweet. hes such a gentleman, and holds my books and opens doors for me. hes also very athletic. he plays basketball and football. hes also very smart and has a set career. hes studying to be a doctor. he helps me and my friends with my homework and hes only a freshman. hes like a genius. i know that because we both go to harvard. i just love being with him and talking to him. we talk every single day, and hang out all the time. i know he likes me cuz he told me that too.

is it bad for me to be boyfriend/girlfriend with him because of the age?? how should i ask him out.. cuz ive never asked a guy(plus hes younger) out, usually the other way around for me..

Why do you care about what your friends think? Go ahead. My sister just graduated from Harvard and she was going out with a sophomore. She's getting a law degree from Yale now, but she's still going steady with him.

There aren't that many great guys in the world, and if he's such a stud, you should at least give it a try.
