NFL Betting: Opening Week (September 6 to 10) Trend

Thursday, September 6
New Orleans at Indianapolis: The Saints have covered four of their last five games with the Indianapolis Colts, but has been out of the gate strong, posting a 6-1-1 mark against the spread (ATS) in its latest eight season openers.

Sunday, September 9
Denver at Buffalo: The Broncos have been a solid road favorite over the past four seasons, 01/07/1911 ATS scoring a mark. Buffalo is 7-1 ATS in home games way back before backwards. The Bills head to Pittsburgh and New England after play Denver.

Pittsburgh at Cleveland: The Steelers have covered seven straight games against the Browns, including four in a row in Cleveland. The Browns are 2-9 as underdogs division seven points or less. The line opened with Pittsburgh favored by a field goal.

Philadelphia at Green Bay: The Eagles have covered seven of their last eight games with the Packers, including three consecutive in Green Bay. The Packers are 1-7 as a home weakest of the last four years, including 0-5 last season and are 1-7 ATS their last eight home games against non-conference foes.

Kansas City at Houston: Houston is 1-5 ATS at home against an opponent not division in September, but Kansas City is a pathetic 10-10 ATS as road favorite non-conference. The Chiefs opened as a one-point loser, but the line could change to see one up close.

Tennessee at Jacksonville: Jacksonville has covered eight consecutive openers. Forget the money line, facing up (SU) also won 22-2 ATS in the series of Tennessee-Jacksonville.

Atlanta at Minnesota: The Falcons are 4-1 ATS their last five games against the Vikings, including their last four trips to Minnesota 3-1. 10/01/1916 Atlanta ATS season openers since 1980.

New England, New York Jets: The Patriots have covered five of their last six games with the Jets and have a streak of eight consecutive victories against them pointspread in New York. New England also is 16-8 ATS against the division of the last four years.

Carolina at St. Louis: The Panthers have covered the spread four straight against the Rams. Since 1980, St. Louis is 7-13-1 ATS as a favorite game open.

Miami at Washington: The Redskins have covered four of their last five games with the Miami Dolphins, but also is 7-1 ATS on the road against non-conference foes.

Detroit at Oakland: The Raiders have covered four of their last five games with the Lions. Since 1980, Oakland is 7-2 ATS in home openers.

Chicago at San Diego: The Bears have covered four straight against the Chargers and own the AFC West with a remarkable record of 01/02/1917 ATS the last 20 meetings. Chicago is 7-3 ATS as a loser in season openers the last 27 years.

Tampa Bay at Seattle: The Buccaneers are 1-7 ATS against the non-conference opponents in their last eight and are 1-3 against the Seahawks ATS their last four meetings. Seattle is 17-3 ATS in September 0500 compared with less than your competition.

New York Giants Dallas Giants are undefeated (5-0-1 ATS) in their last six games against the Cowboys and are 3-1-1 ATS against them in Dallas. The Cowboys are 6-7 ATS as a favorite on the opening day.

Monday, September 10
Baltimore at Cincinnati: The Bengals have covered four of their last five against the Ravens. The favorite of the series Ravens Bengals (Cincinnati opened -3) is 6-1 in their last seven games. Baltimore is 13-11 ATS on Monday Night Football, including 2-4 as a loser by road. Cincy is 5-10 ATS in the multinational force, including 1-1 as a favorite at home.

Arizona at San Francisco: Cardinals have covered three of their last four meetings with the Niners. Since 1980, Arizona is 2-6 ATS on Monday Night Football, but has never been a loser road. With a record of 33-13-1 ATS, San Francisco is the champion of the multinational force. The Niners are a great 01/05/1916 at the role of favorite at home.
