College Football Pac 10

Are the PAC-10 and Big-10 solely responsible for a no playoff system in college football?

I know a lot of people out west that have wanted a playoff system for a long time, nobody has gotten jobbed more! but i read an article, actually a few articles that implied this was true .! PLEASE say it ain't so. I can't believe anybody out here does'nt want a playoff system.I know the Rosebowl is cool and all but their has to be a way to integrate the two. Hell it's already marred by the current system

blibityb- It wouldn't surprise me if the bowl system setup by the people now in charge did'nt continue to job the two conferences we're talking about. They always have in the past!

wut every1 doesn't understand is that the conferences dont want a playoff system cuz they dont wanna lose their highly popularized bowls but wuts gonna happen is either a 4 team or 6 team playoff system and they'll keep the 5 bowl system with 6 teams or make a 3 bowl system (and keep the rose bowl) with a 4 team system.. a plus one system wont work cuz they wont agree to it.. if they do a playoff system they can keep the bowl games and they'll be just as watched cuz it'll be just like this weekend with the nfl games except its college football which is that much better.. it'll all be worked out and im one hundred percent positive there will be a playoff system in place and will still include the bowls as well
