College Football Player Rankings By Position
Top 3 football teams for 2009 SEC College Football
Currently, the Florida Gators are sure shot winners of the SEC not a single team before it can match up to them.
There are, of course, LSU, Alabama and Ole Miss. LSU and Alabama are the best teams in the batch, but Ole Miss could have a great season this year. The possibilities are so great though Ole Miss Georgia is another team to keep in mind with Mark Richt guiding them back. However, it is highly unlikely that any of these teams were able to get the title by defeating the Gators.
Therefore, currently is safe to predict that the Gators will win the trophy this time also make it the second time in a row. What happens to the rest of the rankings is actually what is very interesting now. Let's look at the Gators and two other teams in the top three for the SEC this season.
Florida Gators? No much to say about this team except for the way they completely dominated the conference. They completely defeated Georgia, Alabama, LSU and on his way to defeat dramatically Oklahoma to win the national title. Those who think this amazing performance can not be repeated should think again. All the team of 2009 is the same as that of 2008 Percy Harvin is the only exception. That means that Tim Tebow is back in the position of quarterback and all holders of, yes every one of them are returning this season. Only a sudden change can stop now.
LSU Tigers? They will not stand against the Gators, but it is likely that won the West. His is a computer that has comparatively weak points lower than the rest of the teams below them in the division. His quarterback Jordan Jefferson has been a great last season that could make 2009 a great season with the help of players like wide receiver Brandon LaFell and running back Charles Scott can really do that things happen for the Tigers. The defensive part of the team is pretty good with Harry Coleman on the computer yet. Once they improve on their offense, which is very likely to be the title West which is currently held by Alabama.
Alabama Crimson Tide? Everybody is completely in awe of Nick Saban at the moment and many believe the Crimson Tide will be a great team from now till kingdom come. They forget one important fact here. John Parker Wilson (QB) Andre Smith (offensive tackle) and Glen Coffee (broker) have left this season. These were the top performers last year, and Saban is to replace all three. Although man has been great in recruiting in recent times, it is uncertain whether Alabama will recover all the lost strength. They can win the SEC West title, but have much harder to beat now.
