Why should the Rams draft Ndakumong Suh over Jimmy Clausen?
I would just like to know your opinions on this issue. It seems that most mock draft websites have the Rams taking Ndakumong Suh first overall. Which I think is a mistake, and I just want a fans perspective as to why they think the Rams should take a Defensive Tackle who may or may not be that great of a player, when the Rams can get the Franchise QB that they need to succeed in the NFL.
Remember 3 years ago Glenn Dorsey was in the same position Suh is in right now, he was a great player coming from a school with a good football pedigree and was the most dominate player in college football that season. He has the same stats, body type, and intelligence that Suh has right now yet Glenn Dorsey has busted in the NFL so its not to hard to say that Suh wont do the same.

This link will convince any person that taking Jimmy Clasuen first is the right decision. Look back at the past three years. In 07, Glenn Dorsey was supposed to be the next Warren Sapp, and when the Falcons took Matt Ryan instead of him, people ridiculed them. Now look at both players now, Ryan is a rising talent that led his frachise to it's first back-to-back winning seasons in franchise history. While Dorsey is considered a bust as he might loose his starting spot to Alex Magee. Then in 08, people and experts wanted the Lions to take Jason Smith or Aaron Curry over Matthew Stafford because he wasn't ready. Well, one year later Stafford had an injury, but before that, was having a great rookie season (considering the team around him), as he was able to throw 5 TD's in one game. Jason Smith had an injury that made him miss most of the season, he wasn't effective when he was healthy either. Aaron Curry has all but disapeared, had an invisible rookie season and has not been worthy of his high pick yet.
