Why is an expert in swimming pool (billiards), divided into women and men ...?

With the football season imminent withdrawal, I had the opportunity to see women at the pool and I was very impressed with the level of play of these women. Given that this is not a sport that requires physical strength extreme, why is that women and men are separated in the professional game? Is it because women are inferior to men in the pool, although is not a game of strength? What are the implications of this, since they belong to the feminist theory?

It is only to be the fault of a man ... somehow.
