College Football Qb Stats

For Football Gurus: 2 Questions about NFL/College QB statistics?
Not that either are a big deal, but I can’t find any information about the following QB stats questions. I realize that college and the NFL may be different.
1: When a QB spikes the ball to stop the clock, the play counts and the team loses a down. So the QB is basically trading a down for time on the clock. But from a statistics point of view, does the ball spiking count as an incomplete pass for the QB?
2: Near the end of the 4th quarter, QB’s often take a kneel down in an effort to run out the clock and preserve a victory. Usually there is a 1 or 2 yard loss on the play. Obviously, the play is safer than a running play which would also keep the clock running. Again from a statistics point of view, does the kneel down count as a running play for the QB?
yes and yes
