college football quarterback ratings

What makes a successful quarterback?

Is it the height, weight, athletics? Do you have a strong arm to the difference, knowledge of the offensive team, the practice of the basics? Perhaps it is the offensive line and receivers or runners.

What makes a successful quarterback? I can offer a response from the careers of a former college quarterback, Ryan Dinwiddie and current college quarterback Kellen Moore.

I chose these two quarterbacks because I am familiar with his career.

Ryan Dinwiddie college was from 2001-2003.

He was 6'1 weighing 187 pounds.

Dinwiddie finished his collegiate career in 2003, completing 257 of 411 passes for 4031 yards. Setting school records in ports, completions and attempts and settled also a record total yards in a season in 4074. This includes 28 touchdown passes and only 5 interceptions. That season also set a NCAA Division FBS career passing record an efficiency of 168.9 and became the most prolific passer in history to D1 Colt Brennan broke the record in 2007 with an index 169.25 efficiency

Kellen Moore's college career is in its infancy, he is a freshman redshirt with four games to his credit.

He stands 6'0 and weighs 187 pounds.

Kellen the first major test and play the way was his third game of the season against 17 nationally ranked Oregon Ducks Autzen Stadium. Against this season most advertised side, Moore passed the test to complete 24 of 36 passes for 386 yards, averaged 10.7 yards per pass for three touchdowns and one interception.

As of today Kellen Moore Scout.com ranks sixth among Division 1 quarterbacks, completing 77 attempts for 107 yards and a 1.165 percent Termination 72. Averaging 10.9 yards per completion, Moore has seven touchdowns and two interceptions 181.27 QB rating.

Both are undersized, or possess the size and athleticism of a Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow or raw power and speed of a Jake Locker to run through the past and tacklers.

What was so good and has Dinwiddie star freshman quarterback Kellen Moore to upload? Both had good coaching, support models and arm strength average. What separated them from the rest? The ability to read the defense.

That's why every quarterback is / was successful in placing the numbers while shredding defenses. They knew that I know what they're seeing and what to attack D.

Both are students of the game and each pays special attention to defense (Dinwiddie is playing Canadian football) game film student, learning the defense inside and out.

In conclusion that Marshals wants a successful career, read the defense. They study the game film, and defensive training videos have the ability to read what is before them, helping them make fewer mistakes, make better decisions and power of the defense.
