College Football Quarterback Stats

I need to know the physical statistics of an average football quarterback and linebacker?
Apparently I'm getting a lot of criticism in what Physical statistics are a football quarterback or linebacker build, a few guys have mentioned to me that I think is 5'10 "and anywhere in the neighborhood of 145-160. I'm thinking, someone of that size goes against what I think the average height and weight of a football linebacker or quarterback is building I think it is anywhere in the neighborhood of 6 'to 6'5 "and weight 215 pounds to be. at 256 pounds. Now keep in mind that I am talking about the NFL and not Little League High School or College Football. Anyway, I'm thinking of the little my taste they're talking about plowing obtained if majorly would play in the Major Leagues at that weight and height. So tell me, am I right or wrong in the physics department of statistics of what a linebacker or quarterback should be?? or my friends Bear right at 5'10 "nonsense??
No, absolutely right. What have been your friends smoke? Most quarterbacks the NFL are closer to 6'4, 6'5. They must be able to see over the biggest players in the NFL ... lineman. I remember when Drew Brees was in San Deigo and everyone said it was "too short" 6'2. That was honestly concerned. Obviously it's an elite QB now for what can be overcome but it is one thing ... 6'2 5'10 is another. 5'10 is considered too short for any position in the NFL. There are some high jumps CB & WR that are that short and some dwarf RB (Maurice Jones-Drew) that are short, but in general people are short, as having little body types and are not large enough to do in the NFL. As for weight ranges of the NFL QB that varies greatly, but usually if you're going to be so high that it's going to have a history of more than 210 pounds. If they are not usually can not withstand the punishment of bags, etc. For it is important that they grow up. Back to your comments friends, even in SA unless the school is small or does not have anyone else to most team's starting QB SA are larger than 5'10 and 160. Again, it is difficult for them to see over the line otherwise. We had a 5'8 pretty decent QB in HS but he managed to start immediately for a 6'3 freshmen had because he was just a bit to be there. Sounds like his friends could have sydrome man and are trying to justify why they or people of his size could do, because what they are throwing out there just is not rational for football.
