College Hockey: A pure sport

Of all the sports left out there, the only true left is a pure college hockey. And while hockey is usually something like the redheaded stepchild of the sports world, college hockey should be given more attention. Not only demonstrated that college athletes do not need stupid to participate in sports, going to show that teamwork and perseverance really matters in the sport yet.

With many teams in the field of college recruits renowned team focuses on, in college hockey enjoys a sort of anonymity when it comes to that. Of course, there are still recruits big names, but since hockey is not as popular or as much analysis and scope that few other college sports seem not be as affected as some players making the jump to professional football after his basketball career. College hockey players also seem succeed in school less often than football players or basketball, however, a fairly broad generalizations, I think hockey players generally are smarter than most football players can hardly even write a coherent sentence.

College hockey is also more a team sport. If all the guys on the ice are here, then the team will do well. Even if there is stress, can not dominate the whole game because there are too many people on the track of that, or to try to do it or will want the disc. On the football field or basketball court, you can throw the same dominant receiver or a plate of ball into the dominant center for the whole game if you need some quick points. But in college hockey, even the most dominant forward on the ice can get evasive by a goalkeeper without a name that happens to catch a hot streak at the right time.

In addition, a low-scoring game of hockey can still be exciting. If there is a low-scoring game in basketball or football, which is regulated to be boring. However, a score of 1-0 in hockey could offer more than 50 shots in net for both teams and go to triple overtime. Of course, that's really weird, but hockey in general, is a low-scoring game anyway, scores high are something of an anomaly. Another thing that sets hockey college plus college sports is another rivalry. Obviously, there are some really great rivalries in football and basketball, college hockey, but has the additional benefit of the fights. Of course, players should not drop the gloves, but at some time is bound to happen. Take for instance the Minnesota Gophers and the University of North Dakota Sioux struggle. I would put that rivalry against any other rivalry college sports for public participation, pride and heatedness school.

Although college hockey does not receive the same kind of coverage that college sports do others, they are more team oriented and has been at least diluted by outside interests and large advertisers. In short hockey University, remains pure and untainted by modern society, and I hope it stays that way.
