College Football Rankings Week 8

College Football Storylines – Week 6
College football is an exciting game. Every week there are amazing victories, unthinkable defeats, and brand new storylines that seem to get better and better.
1. Will Tim Tebow play against LSU?
Sounds like it will be a game decision. You certainly know that Tim wants to play. He may even get cleared by the doctors. But there is something about going into a hostile environment and running, jumping, being tackled, and hitting others at full speed after you just got knocked out a couple of weeks earlier that just doesn’t seem safe. I certainly hope that the right decision is made here, and that the Gators’ staff won’t put winning ahead of Tim’s health – even if Tim wants them to.
2. How will Ole Miss play against Alabama?
Houston Nutt has the knack for losing games his team should win and then winning games his team should lose. Last time Ole Miss played, they looked awful against South Carolina. The resulting loss dropped them more than 15 spots in the rankings. But now they play Alabama and with no pressure. They are expected to lose, and that is usually the kind of games that Houston Nutt’s team performs well in. Watch out, Crimson Tide!
3. What will happen with Bobby Bowden?
For the least several years, I have been unimpressed by the coaching that Bowden gives on the sidelines. Seems like he just walks around watching the game like a normal fan. I know he does give his input, but it sure looks like he is giving the wrong input or the coaches that really run the show at Florida State can’t get out of their own way. It is sad to see as I really like Bobby. But it just looks like he has lost touch with his team, and I wonder how long he will try to hang on?
