Do you think Pete Carroll will go down as one of the greatest college football coaches ever?

In my estimate he is nearly equal to Bowden and Paterno already all he needs is a few more conferences. He has one shared title and one outright title. He has been in the top 5 five years in a row. He is recruiting legendary player after player.

Of course the people desperate to discredit USC point to one player who allegedly broke NCAA rules but it seems to be his parents not him.

So where do you think he will go down all time? I think if he continues at this pace he will be the greatest ever.

Hey Bruce i agree with your assessment of Pete Carrol legacy, but he's no there yet. But he's on his way to be one of the greatest of all time. He need a couples more of National Titles and some more conference title out right. And this year, i believe is the Trojan year, too much offense with John D. Booty at the helm. He's gonna put up some Hughes offensive number and win the Heisman. And the vaunted USC defense is sick with talents. And Pete Carrol will add on to his legacy of greatness as long as he continue to rack up 5 stars talent like he do every year. But greatness will take times. Fight On!
