College Football Results Week 5

Im looking for a good ab routine that i can do after my workouts that will get me cut?
I work out and play basketball probably about 5 days a week, I eat decent but not great but for the amount of time I put in the gym there is no way I'm not cutting fat daily. I have a good body but for some reason it seems like my ab workouts are lacking, I burn them out everyday I workout but the results at end of the week, and the next week aren't what I expect. I played college football so I know not to overwork my muscles and let them rest if I feel any strain, I look more for repetition rather than adding weight when Im doing abs. But it seems that I can never get that extra little fat in the front of my stomach to go away. Any suggestions on maybe adding weight to it? Switching it up? I figured it might have something to do with the protein intake I have so I've upped it a little bit. I figured trying to cut it rather than bulk it was my best option but it looks like I just need something changed? And any suggestions on a diet with a low income salary? 22 5'9 170lbs
Your answer lies in your question. To get cut, no amount of ab exercises will help you unless you focus on eating clean. Nutrition in 80% of the answer. Exercise can help with definition but to get cut you will have to drop body fat. This will be done by eating healthy foods in moderation. Combine a low fat diet with regular exercise and you will lose your gut quickly.
As for ab exercises, all you need to do is regular crunches 2 times a week. Do 5-10 minutes of crunches two times a week and focus more on creating a calorie deficit through nutrition.
If you are not losing weight, then you are simply eating too much food that is cancelling out any calorie deficit you are creating through exercise.
