College Football Rushing Records

Which college QB turned receiver in the NFL would have been better if they stayed a QB?
Brad Smith: All-time division 1-A leader for rushing by a quarterback, First player in division 1-A history to pass for 8,000 yards and run for 4,000 yards in career, First player in division 1-A history to pass for 2,000 yards and run for 1,000 yards in a season twice in a career
Matt Jones:He currently holds the Southeastern Conference record for most career rushing yards by a quarterback.
Antwaan Randle El: He finished his college career as the fifth on the all-time NCAA total yardage list, and became the first player in college football history to record 2,500 total yards for four consecutive years. He finished his career with 7,469 passing yards, 3,895 rushing yards, and 86 touchdowns running and passing.
Eric Crouch: NCAA record for most career rushing TDs by a quarterback (59), One of three quarterbacks in Division 1-A history to rush for 3,000 and pass for 4,000 yards in a career
Who would've had a better chance at stardom as a QB rather than a mediocre receiver?
i woudlnt call ARE mediocre. he was decent for the steelers in their super bowl year. hes a good trickster wiht his QB past and decent at returning. maybe not the best 2 out there..but if you threw him at 3 (which the skins will do after this season when they draft a 6'3''+ WR) he will be good.
crouch was never a true QB...jones may have been able to play-as well as smith-but they just didnt have exactly "it" and its alot harder to play QB than WR plus theres normally 5/6 WR spots on a team than 2/3 for a QB (and you can switch out WRs in teh 3/4/5 spots alot easier than your qbs (atleast the 3 isnt too terrible)..
