Texas Longhorns quarterback cold McCoy and receiver Jordan Shipley received official notification on Monday that they have been named semifinalists for national awards. McCoy is one of 15 in line to receive the Davey O'Brien Award, which is for best quarterback in the nation. Shipley is one of 10 finalists being considered for the Biletnikoff Award for the best wide receivers in the nation. Winners will publicly announced on November 23.
