Why are things that are supposed to be so manly really so gay?

I've got a gay friend who always jokes about this and I've always felt this way too.
Wrestling (like high school and college, not Monday Night Raw) and football just seem like the two gayest things I have ever seen.

But people act like you're not a real man if you're not into them. How is grabbing nuts in one sport and smacking butts in the other a sign of heterosexuality. Mind boggling.

Tennis might be the straightest sport there is, really. Too guys staying as far away from each other as possible. Then at the end, they shake hands as quickly as possible and go get naked in their OWN locker room instead of having a swordfight in the shower like football teams.

BTW, I just about got killed at a bar last week for arguing this point with a football coach in all of my drunkeness. Glad the team wasn't there. They must have been showering.
