Brady Quinn - Cleveland Browns
The Browns have said Anderson will stay in the starting position in the 08-09 season, but as nature has portrayed, many things can change on any given Sunday.
Now, although we have published articles mentioning injuries in the NFL for 2008 everywhere not want or expect Derek Anderson get battered or bruised for the next matches, but again, even the best gets hurt and if it happens to Anderson, then We expect to see the best of Brady for season 1908-1909.
Let's go back a couple of years, at the beginning of the 2006 NCAA football season, Brady Quinn had the opportunity and the faith of his party. He was the leading candidate for the Heisman Trophy. He was set to make a run at a national championship with Notre Dame fighting Irish partners and quite possibly be the first overall pick (a dream college player) in the April draft the NFL. Then something happened.
In recent months of the season, welcomed the distinguished Irish rival Michigan in South Bend for the third game of the year. During the game, the second pass attempt of the competition, Wolverine Linebacker Prescott Burgess stepped in front of a sin Quinn shot and took the interception 31 yards for a touchdown in Michigan.
This was only the beginning, one days ugly to Quinn, who threw three touchdowns, but also three interceptions in a 47-21 walkover Michigan. Due to the fact that they were in the middle of the season, the loss Ireland dropped 10 points on the board, from the second to 12. Notre Dame and Brady never seemed to recover, the loss ended up being a thorn in the side, injuring the heart of the season for both the Irish and Quinn.
While Quinn did not actually lose the Heisman that day, did not help his foundation. He finished third in the award to have Ohio State quarterback Troy Smith and Arkansas running back Darren McFadden. Notre Dame was losing to the University of Southern California in the last game of the season regular, plunging the Irish up to 17 tables.
The final curse Quinn and Notre Dame came into the hands of Louisiana State University in the Sugar Bowl when they were in a 41-14 thrashing. During the game, LSU quarterback JaMarcus Russell Quinn completely humiliated by sending a message to NFL scouts and recruiters who may not Russell and Quinn, was the best pro prospect for the project.
Now, we are not saying that Quinn had a terrible season and career high in the fight against Irish not in the least. He threw for 3.426 yards and 37 touchdowns in 2006, his fourth and final year at Notre Dame. In his career, Quinn will end up being one of the bystanders more productive in school history, owning 30 school records including nine runs and nine single season marks.
However, statistics for Russell, who was born in the first round to the Oakland Raiders, while Quinn retired from the five to finish at 22. His free fall was the quarterback who reminds current Green Bay Packers Aaron Rodgers in 2005.
Quinn will always remember April 28, 2007, which was great news and marked his career future for the coming years. Brady was drafted by his favorite dream team, the Cleveland Browns.
Even if Quinn warmed the bench all his rookie season 2007, we have seen taking notes in silence from the 08-09 season opened, and if Anderson receives traded or injured during this campaign, Brady Insurance do the job!
