College Football Tie Rules

How'd he not know it could end in a tie?
Seriously, this guy has a syracuse degree, he has to be smart.
I don't ask this because it's a common rule (it is) but because he's been in the league ten years and there was just a tie six years ago. I'm pretty confused how he couldn't know there is a tie rule.
BQ: Do you think the NFL should adopt college football's style of overtime, just maybe start back farther since the kickers are better?
So how about someone doesn't be an asshole and just answers the question or put in your opinion?
I'm just saying a degree means he has some sort of intelligence, which I would like to think would make him aware enough to know of a rule that just happened 6 years ago while he was in the league.
Kan, soccer does have tie breaker. They do two periods extra and if it's still tied, they go to penalty kicks until they have a winner. It only ends in a tie during exhibition games.
He made himself look really bad, but he really may have not known. It rarely happens.
No, I think they should play a complete period to decide the winner. No sudden death or ball at 25 alternating pssessions.
