Is it possible to switch conferences in college football? ?

Since Boise State is clearly to good for the WAC, this would help them since they proven there as good as anybody

Many teams have switched conferences. Both Arizona and Arizona State were in the WAC before joining the Pac 8, making it the Pac 10. Penn State went from independent to member of the Big 10. Arkansas ditched the Southwest Conference for the SEC, South Carolina was in the ACC, then went independent, then joined the SEC. It's happened many times. The PAC 10 has talked about adding 2 more teams so they can have a conference championship game like the SEC, ACC, and Big 12, if that happened, Boise State would certainly be a favorite to join the conference.
