college football week 2 predictions
Where are my college football fans? I HAVE IT FIGURED OUT THIS YEAR!!!.... A PLAYOFF SYSTEM for 2008-2009!!!?

Take the top 12 teams (in this order): 1Alabama, 2Florida, 3Oklahoma & 4Texas all get byes for the first week. Then #5 vs #12 (USC vs Missouri); #6 vs #11 (Penn State vs Oklahoma St); #7 vs #10 (Texas Tech vs Ohio St); #8 vs #9 (Utah vs Boise State).... And this is my prediction of how it would play out this year: #5, #6, #10 & #8 will win. Then #1 Alabama vs #10 THE Ohio State; #2 Florida vs #8 Utah; #3 Oklahoma vs #6 Penn State; #4 Texas vs #5 USC. The semi-finals would have #1 vs #5 and #2 vs #3.... USC defense would surprisingly stop Alabama and Florida would heckle Oklahoma. CHAMPIONSHIP: USC vs Florida (FLORIDA GATORS ARE YOUR NATIONAL CHAMPIONS).... And from the beginning notice it is the Top 12 and it does not include the University of Georgia!! Hahaha... those fans would throw a temper tantrum like they always do. I bet there is no team out there that are more cry babies when they lose than the UGA DAWGS

I would take the winner of each conference (11), and for the current independent teams, who ever has the best record overall, and strenght of schedule. If there are co champions of a conference, the deciding factor would be strenght of schedule. If a team wants a chance to play for a national championship; win your conference and play quality teams!! There's your playoff situation. Everyone else can go to a bowl game.
