Is the State of Illinois the worst in College Football?

Illinois and Northwestern are the biggest embarassments in the history of College Football. I cant even remember the last time either one of these schools were ranked let alone won a national championship. I say lets to a favor and throw these Joke Schools out of the BCS and demote them to Division III football. I know Inner-city Chicago High School football teams with better football programs than Illinois and Northwestern.

Actually, Illinois was ranked last year as high as 22nd so you must not follow them too closely or you would have known that. They also won the Big Ten championship in 2001.

As for Northwestern, they won the Big Ten championship in 1995 and were co-champions in 1996 and 2000. They were also ranked 22nd last year in week 15.
