If Notre Dame was retroactively awarded the 1993 National Championship?

Inspired by the Texas / Oklahoma and Algora flap. I ask the court to "93 National Championship title stripped from the FSU and presented to ND. Notre Dame, was a team one loss. lost in recent moments of the game at Boston College, Tom Coughlin. Florida State was a waste of a team as well, and were defeated by Notre Dame pretty easily. At the end of State Florida won the national championship at Notre Dame Notre Dame despite a great state of Florida. As we now have learned that should never happen. AP poll 1993 Final 1. 2 State of Florida. Notre Dame 3. Nebraska 4. Auburn 5. Florida http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1993_NCAA_Division_I-A_football_season Notre Dame 31, Florida St. 24 Master IIRC: that game was played in near perfect weather conditions. There may have been a bit of rain towards the end, but after the score was already 31 -17. I see no mention of rain in the reports of the game.

I was there studying at FSU this year. The loss of Notre Dame, was the only flaw in a season incredibly perfect. Overall, FSU outscored opponents 4-1. Notre Dame loss was also during rain, which affected the game a little and reduction some lucky plays. The only way to have an undisputed champion is if the team suffered no loss at all and played against top teams throughout the season. Sure wish FSU had not lost that game ugly, but they did. Even so, why bring something so old? There is no way that anyone ever will be awarded a national championship retroactively. It is best not to focus too much on the past and just move on.
