NFL News

The Minnesota Vikings have just had one of his fans most wanted to write a new song fight for the team. Prince or the artist formerly known as or whatever new name has just written a new song for his hometown team. The prince said he was inspired by the beating of the Vikings gave the Cowboys last week in the 2nd round of the playoffs in the NFC he had to write a song to show their support. Once the team heard the song he liked so much he decided to put it on its official website.

NBA NEWS

The NBA has announced holders for the 2010 ALL STAR game which will take place in the new Dallas Cowboy stadium. The starters for the east are Lebron James, Allen Iverson, Kevin Garnett, Dwyane Wade and Dwight Howard. Holders in the west will be Carmelo Anthony, Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan and Amare Stoudemire. The game will be Feb. 14 and can be seen on TNT.

Kobe Bryant just became the youngest player in NBA history to reach 25,000 points scored plateau. Bryant joins a short list of the 14 other NBA big they were able to achieve such a huge milestone in his career.

MLB NEWS

The NY Mets have been busy in the off-season so far, not only collect outfielder Jason Bay of the Boston Red Sox, who just signed outfielder Gary Matthews Jr. of the Angels in Los Angeles.

The Philadelphia Phillies were able to locking up twice a Gold Glove winner Shane Victorino contract until 2012. Victorino had requested 5.8 million U.S. dollars through arbitration, but was able to develop an agreement for $ 22 million over the next three years.

After passing through 19-5 to the Seattle Mariners last season and show everyone that he is one of the most dominating pitchers in baseball today, Felix Hernandez finally got the treatment he was seeking. Hernandez has just signed a 5-years 78 million dollar contract with the Mariners, who also adds the World Series Ace Cliff Lee and the off-season.

GOLF NEWS

The professional golfer Jim Thorpe has just been sentenced to one year in prison for non-payment of $ 2 million in taxes. Thorpe has to surrender to authorities by no later than April 1, 2010. Once released Thorpe will have to perform 200 hours of supervised community service and return the money they owe in taxes.
