Football Manager 2010 will be released soon, is just a rehash of 2009 or is it worth buying?

According to the makers of Football Manager 2010 there is a hell of a lot of improvements since the latest version of popular football management game.

SI has spent a year polishing things, making the game faster, more immersive, more realistic and easier to play with better feedback on the game and more tips, and delivered in a way more friendly.

There is a better match engine with improved AI, more than 100 new animations in 3D mode, new stadiums and crowds, degradation improves the tone and better lighting, they say that for the most immersive experience pitch side of the story.

A match analysis tool that shows shots, passes, crosses, headers, tackles, interceptions and mistakes have been made on the pitch for both teams. You can view this in vivo analysis in the game, and after the game, allowing you to identify weaknesses and strengths of both the team and its opponents.

A new user interface has been added, with a brand new vibrant look and feel, along with a review of navigation. The sidebar has been replaced by a tab system, intuitive, which is based on consumer feedback and extensive usability studies, and gives you access to all areas of FM 2010 quickly and easily.

A module new tactics makes it much easier to make your team play like you want them. There are thousands of possible options and pre-set band line "note" instructions to make instant changes to their style of play equipment. However, do not worry - the old system is still there for people who prefer sliders.

A New Data Editor, including a new competition editor allows you to add extra levels of competitions and leagues for now in the game, and add completely new competitions and leagues all through a very simple to use editor. Moreover, the new editor lets you keep your game day with more ease than ever.

Thus, a current player database including all the latest transfers, it seems likely that 2010 will be FM the best in the long and distinguished series Football Manager.

Football Manager 2010 is for release in late October 2010 on PC / Mac and PSP formats.
