football first down line on tv
On the football field, blue line and yellow line scrimage "first and" only see on television?

These lines blue and yellow that appear and disappear when you watch the game on television. Are these lines is illuminated only on television or are illuminated lines currently displayed on the football field to show the players the position scrimage line and the line where you need to get the first opportunity. Never I've seen the football game on the field so I do not know. Please reply. Thank you.

It's only on TV. It is for viewers at home. The Players need to have the knowledge to know what yard line to arrive. The game is made slightly more difficult mid-game.
