The Kansas Jayhawks football tradition began in 1890 in Lawrence, Kansas. They represent the University of Kansas in the North Division of the Big 12 and ranks in the NCAA Division I. Kansas, with the all-time record for the greatest number of links in the IA of the NCAA Division, which is 57 years, resulted in the ruling that allows a jump on October 6, 1990. The Jayhawks defeated By Texas Tech 35-7 in their game Nov. 15 in the Kivisto Field at Memorial Stadium. With the loss, Kansas fell to 6-5 on the season and 3-4 in Big 12. Will be a week before to play again, this time with the Border Showdown rival Missouri Tigers at Arrowhead Stadium.
