How much did cost to get in when you started going to football, and how much does it cost now?
i started going to football back in the mists of time, or to be precise, the mid to late 80's. It used to cost me £2 to get in at The Gills back then. Now, to go in the Rianham end it sets me back £23!
So how many shekels did you used to have to shell out?
I'll answer for the old buggers both red and blue on Merseyside it was a shilling (5pence) to go in the boys pen way back in the 60,s lol you would go in the boys pen then climb over the railings to watch the match with all the big men lol
