Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Issue?
I am in a custom fantasy football league and our waiver wire wait period is 2 days. From time to time, I see that some waived players are picked up immediately or in the next 45 minutes by other teams that have lower level of waiver priority. I thought that the commissioner is resetting waiver period to 0 days for these specific players and setting the player to an immediate free agent, but commissioner claims that this is a bug with Yahoo's system and sometimes dropped players do not immediately go to waivers, which allows a team with lower waiver priority to pick them up as free agents. Do you know anything about this issue? And if there's an issue, how can this be reported to Yahoo so that it can be fixed? Your immediate responses are greatly appreciated.
The commissioner can override any waiver period by simply adding the player to the first team to claim him. They can override any roster movement for the entire league if they choose to.
